Welcome back to day six of my 31 Days of Free Writes on Writing series! <<<That link will take you directly to the Table of Contents for this series, so make sure to check it often for updates, I need readers to hold me accountable to my goals j/k, sort of. Make sure to check out the other bloggers participating, at the bottom of this page on the Five Minute Friday website, and go to the Five Minute Friday homepage to see Kate’s personal posts on 31 days as a Christian Writer, one I’m particularly interested in.
I just laid down and closed my eyes for bed, and remembered my goal. I almost missed it, but didn’t! Whoot.
I just had the privilege of listening to a sermon about the man who helped Jesus carry his cross, and how The Lord’s able to work good out of something terrible. Through multiple different authors, many references, and some research, one clear and concise story is told. It’s so amazing to me how God knows everything, and has revealed this to us through his sovereignty. I love the foreshadowing sprinkled throughout the whole book, the dynamic and even static characters we can relate to, the depth of historical information, the similies and metaphors, and especially the calls to action.
I can only hope that my story will be well planned, thought out, and tell one concise story. I know it’s a standard I could never achieve, but as with our daily goals to become more like Christ it’s a great
example as to why I want to write.
Bam what! Good night blogosphere, good night.
